Spring Fair 2016 – It was so good that I went twice

Spring Fair 2016

Today I visited the Spring Fair at the NEC in Birmingham. It is a great trade fair to visit as there are many exhibitors and lots to see. In particular, I enjoyed visiting the Home section in Hall 1 as it gave me a lot of inspiration for where to source products and materials in the future. Gun Dog Ales

I visited the local micro brewery Gundog Ales independently for a project that I did last year. The brewery is based in Woodford Halse, Northamptonshire. I thought that it would be relevant to the project that I am doing at the moment so have added some photographs for inspiration. It is a smaller brewery than Phipps Brewery that I visited and would be closer to the scale of the space that I have to work with.

Workbridge – Northampton

Today I visited Workbridge in Northampton to look at the ceramic slip casting work shop as inspiration for my project. I collected information about the equipment needed and the process of making ceramics. I found this very interesting as I have done some ceramics work in the past.   The concept of Workbridge is something that would be good to consider in my project.
