Royal Leamington Spa is a beautiful and prosperous town within the heart of Warwickshire. A beautiful Warwickshire town Leamington Spa with a population of around 50,000, Leamington Spas growth was largely due to its natural spa springs that were discovered and commercialised during the nineteenth century. Royal Leamington Spa is a very sophisticated, fashionable and elegant town located within the heart of South Warwickshire. With the elegant Georgian and Victorian architecture, and picturesque tree-lined avenues and squares and glorious public gardens, it offers a very unique experience to visitors.
The magnificent Royal Pump Rooms are now an interesting cultural and tourism complex, housing the Leamington Spa Museum, Art Gallery, Library and Tourist Information Centre; making it the town’s cultural hub. Within the museum, there are interesting and informative displays on the historic use of the Pump Rooms and Spa Treatments and the opportunity to sample the special spa water!
Opposite the Royal Pump Rooms are the Jephson Gardens, which are perfect for a gentle walk; with pretty flowers and planted beds and water features add a beautiful touch to the gardens. These Grade II listed gardens of horticultural excellence include a sensory garden, a temperate glasshouse, and a refurbished boathouse. There is also a riverside restaurant and the lovely charmingly restored Victorian tearoom. There is absolutely loads to explore within this beautiful town, they even have a tourist information office that provides excellent information on things to do in the area.

Warwickshire is easily one of my favourite counties in England and I love spending time there; especially in Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and Kenilworth, it is truly a beautiful part of the world. From the beautiful shopping streets, the sophisticated restaurants, bars, hotels and pubs; to the beautiful gardens and cultural experiences; there is something in Leamington Spa for everyone.
