An Interior Designers Dream Home | Beautiful Manor House
This stunning house is truly an interior designers dream home. I have always loved this beautiful Manor house in the village where I grew up, I used to walk past it every day on my way to primary school. I love these types of houses with the stone brickwork and a bit of character. This is a beautiful Grade II listed manor house in the heart of Byfield village.
Before looking inside I have to show you how lovely the back of the house is. I love the colours of the window frames and doors. The glass panelled doors and windows are beautiful. What a wonderful place to sit and eat breakfast or even to do some work from home.
I just love the whole look of the house, even down to the plants and greenery against the natural stone. The interior spaces are really lovely and I know I could create a beautiful design for the interior of this amazing house. I love the amount of light coming into the interior through the beautiful windows. I would love to dress these windows with some beautiful window dressings.
The traditional staircase is really beautiful. I think the steps of the stairs themselves would look lovely with a classic timeless stair runner with some silver or brass rods to add that little decorative element to the staircase. The colour depending on hardware preferences for the rest of the house.
I really love how the bedrooms and bathrooms are so spacious, really light and airy interiors. Some light curtains or roman blinds would really add some extra cosiness and softness to the interior. Some more textured fabrics that complement each other would really give the space some more warmth and depth.
I really love these old built in fireplaces that they have in older buildings. There is something lovely about original features in an older house, I think it’s important to keep as many as possible. I love antiques and vintage items for interiors.
I really like the look of a roll top bath in an interior. I struggle to stay in the bath for very long, but I know I wouldn’t want to leave this bath. It feels like quite a large bathroom with space to feel relaxed.
The outdoor spaces are just as beautiful as the house itself. What a lovely place to sit in the summer, and even in the winter by a log burning stove, and all cosy under a snuggly blanket.
If I had a spare £775,000.00 knocking around, I would probably have bought it.
