The Game Board

Colour

I decided to go monochrome so that the board does not take away from the vibrant feature of the cards. Also the board represents “A world without culture would be colourless or monochrome.” The addition of the vibrantly patterned cultural cards brings culture to the world of the board game.

The Size

The full size of the game board is 600mm X 600mm. The centre circle is 280mm X 280mm to allow enough space for the card construction in the centre of the board.

Layout

I have chosen not to have the logo on the board as it will distract from the game, but it will be on the box.

There is no specific start square on the game board, everyone starts from where they choose on the outer ring and may progress to the inner ring when half of their pegs have been collected for correctly answering questions.
