This is a goad map showing the Albion Brewery as the site existed in 1899 when it was the Ratliff and Jefferey Albion Brewery. Goad maps are old town insurance maps that can usually be found in the local library. As it can be seen from this map, the brewery site was a lot larger covering almost the entire block rather than one corner as it does today.
