My Beautiful New Business Cards Have Arrived! I Love Them!
Guess whose new business cards have arrived… mine. I’m very happy with them. After spending ages choosing business cards that would be sophisticated for an interior designer / interior architect, I finally have these beauties in my hand. I know that I have definitely chosen the right ones. This is a big thing for me as I finally have some beautiful looking cards to give to people without being embarrassed. I wanted to have something professional, but still fun and nice to touch and look at. Business cards are a must for any designer, it makes it so much easier and professional to give someone your contact details. I might have taken a lot of pictures, but I love them…
Where I Ordered Them From…
I bought 250 of these for now from Vistaprint as I had a 50% off voucher, I only ordered a few to start with, but I can order more in the future when I start to run low on these. I got an incredible deal on them, so I’m very happy… This is actually my second set because they were printed in the incorrect colour, but kindly Vistaprint replaced them for free and those lovely replacements arrived today…
I’ve also ordered a silver stainless steel business card holder, but I’m waiting for it to arrive…
How I Chose My Business Card Design…
Vistaprint has some really nice looking business card templates, I liked quite a few of them, but not all of them were that appropriate for my business. I almost went with one of their metallic templates, but decided to design my own from scratch. I used one of the photographs that I had taken earlier this year as the background for my card; which also happens to be my profile picture for my social media pages. I wanted some consistency. I used the same text font as my website to tie it all together as it’s important to me to brand my interior design business well. And I think these ones match my website and social media profiles which I love.
I’m really pleased with how this week is going so far for me, not only do I have my lovely new business cards, but I’m working on an amazing residential interior design project which I’m really loving; my design table is absolutely full of beautiful interior design things. I have also just made a bulk order of A2 white mount board for making mood boards as I’m running a little low on it. I also went to pick up some professional folders to present my mood boards in. And I have a new comfortable leather office chair, so simple things are making my week wonderful. I hope you are all having a wonderful week also.
