Oswald Berliner Brewery (The Factory) – Julian Breinersdorfer Architecture – Modern Extension

I have been researching how other factory buildings have had modern extensions and additions added to them as the building that I have chosen was built as a brewery, has had many factory uses over the years and is now currently a brewery again. I would like to add a possibly a more modern extension to it, so it was important to look at what other architects have produced.

The Oswald Berliner Brewery was designed by Julian Breinersdorfer Architecture has been transformed into a start-up campus hosted by Google from an old factory that was encased by the Berlin Wall. The extension on the top of the building is a very bold statement that really stands out as a modern piece of architecture from the original brick building. The interior of the building has been completely updated also to suit the requirements of its users.
