Today I went on a visit to the beautiful Burford; and Burford could well be Oxfordshires best interior design town; with an affluent high street with many interior design shops lining the high street and the surrounding area. Burford is a very picturesque small town right in the heart of the Cotswolds in North Oxfordshire; which is considered the southern gateway to the beautiful Cotswolds; and I could easily understand why interior design Burford is so popular. The architecture is truly beautiful constructed from the gorgeous Cotswold stone allowing the pretty high street to blend in perfectly with the stunning large houses. The high sloping high street creates beautiful views over the open countryside down to the river Windrush and the Windrush valley.

The main high street slopes gently down to the river and is lined on both sides with lovely dignified old houses and ancient cottages and many shops for a small town; all of which appear little changed since the Tudor period as seen through the precarious angles the buildings now rest at. There are wonderful cute little side streets to explore, old pubs, tea rooms and antique shops. Burford even has a little brush shop which has every type of brush you can imagine.

Burford is well worth a visit, especially if you are travelling through England’s beautiful Cotswolds. The Cotswolds is a brilliant area for tourism; you can have a cake and a cream tea or look at the stunning Cotswolds views. There is absolutely loads to explore within this little town, they even have a tourist information office that provides excellent information on things to do in the area. And of course you can decide for yourself whether Burford is Oxfordshires best interior design town.

Burford seemed like a very popular town for interior design; with interior design shops lining the high street as well as the surrounding area. These ranged from small picturesque interior design decoration shops on the high street which sold items such as lamps, mirror and chairs. To large interior design product showrooms which sold items such as baths, sinks and dining tables. I counted at least half a dozen as I was walking around the beautiful town.
