This is their conceptual design for a Cirque du Soleil performance in Brooklyn, New York. The entire building becomes a stage because the exterior and interior blend together perfectly. The windows are very large to allow the public to watch performances and training activities. The design of the overall structure consists of two distinctive curves that are based on the mathematical concept of Gomboc where an object only has a single point of stable equilibrium where it sits or rests.
I think that the shape of the building is very interesting as the students have thought of something out of the ordinary while still basing it on a mathematical concept. It is certainly not a standard building design.
