Today is the start of the Urban Fabric Interior Design Exhibition at the University of Northampton, the private viewing is tonight, with the exhibition running for the rest of the week. It will show Interior Design Year 3’s Initial Research work showing our chosen buildings in preparation for our Interior Design Final Major Projects.
My Drop – Albion Brewery Northampton
My drop for the exhibition is the long landscape one underneath the black sign on the top left. It shows a bit about the location research of my chosen building for my final project.
3X3 Grids
Additionally, it show’s our 3X3 grids of our intentions for our interior design projects in year 3. These ideas may change, but are initial thoughts and decisions at the beginning of the 3rd year of interior design.
I particularly like how our grids have been put together to form one larger display giving an overview of what the Interior Design year 3 students are up to in the final year of our course.

Interior Design Work
I particularly liked some of the 1st and 2nd year interior design work as they had some very effective pieces that showed the urban fabric of Northampton. Below is my favourite piece from the exhibition.
